Where fitness meets performance
Using The Titleist Performance Institute’s (TPI) physical screening assessment Senan will identify and isolate any physical limitations you may have that are decreasing your efficiency with your golf swing & holding you back from playing your best golf.
The TPI golf performance assessment screen is a physical evaluation of 16 golf specific movement patterns. This assessment screen evaluates the ability of your body to move and support itself during the golf swing. The assessment screen will take approximately 60 minutes.
Based on your screening assessment findings Senan can design a golf specific program to breakdown these limitations and help bring your golf game to a new level with improved fitness, mobility, and stability.
The findings of your assessment can be discussed with your golf professional to ensure optimal communication to get your swing where you want it to be!
Senan is excited to be partnering with Elbow Springs Golf Club where your performance assessment will take place.
Fitness and golf have been passions of mine for over 35 years. I grew up in Montreal playing hockey. We had an outdoor rink across the street from my house and I would be out there working on my skating and stick handling skills from sun-up to sun-down. As I progressed through junior hockey I suffered my first major injury - an ACL tear & subsequent surgical reconstruction. Through the rehabilitation process I spent a lot of time in the gym getting my strength back to return to hockey.
As my hockey playing days started to come to an end my brother-in-law introduced me to the game of golf. Again, I was lucky to have a small golf course just a short walk from my childhood home.
Once I picked up a club I was hooked. I started playing competitive golf in 1994 and continue to play competitively to this day. I have suffered through a few more injuries & setbacks, including surgeries on my shoulders, knee, hand, and most recently my neck. With each of those, I have been able to come back and continue to play golf at a high level. It has been my commitment to fitness that has made that a possibility. Being physically fit with a focus on balancing strength, flexibility, mobility, & stability has enabled me to advance my game & my longevity in this sport.
I look forward to helping you get ready off the course, so you too, can take your game to a new personal level on the course and stay in the game for years to come!
